‘Did not want to believe my screen husband, Obi has gone to be with his maker’ – Hilda Dokubo says

Few moments ago, Popular Nollywood Actress, Hilda Dokubo took to social media to react to the death of her colleague, Saint Obi. Recall that yesterday the whole world was thrown into deep shock after the news of the death of actor, Saint Obi surfaced online and ever since then, a lot of people has been paying tribute to him.

In a post shared on her Official Facebook page today being Sunday the 14th day of May, 2023 Hilda Dokubo revealed that she didn’t want to believe that her screen husband, Saint Obi has gone to be with his maker but denial didn’t change the fact. She further stressed that the Nigerian Movie Industry has lost amazing souls over the years.

“God heal our broken hearts. Nollywood mouns again, I didn’t want to believe my screen husband, Saint Obi has gone to be with his maker but my denial didn’t change the fact. Looking at this I couldn’t stop myself from remembering that we have lost amazing souls”, Hilda Dokubo wrote and it stirred massive reactions from fans, viewers and followers with many taking to the comment section to react.

According to reports, Mr Obi died at his Sister’s place in Jos, Plateau State early last week after battling a protracted illness for months. It was also reported that the reason why the Actors Guild of Nigeria is yet to make an official statement regarding the demise of the actor is because his family are having a little disagreement.
